"Flat and dry" is a basic requirement for the operating environment of the audio hoist control box. If there are depressions, protrusions or standing water on the ground, it may cause operators to stand unsteadily. Especially when operating the controller with both hands, body imbalance can easily lead to risks such as colliding with the controller or pulling the equipment cables.
For the cables laid on the ground (such as the power cables and signal cables connecting the controller to the audio equipment and electric hoists), full coverage protection with anti-step cable trays is mandatory. The anti-step cable trays must be made of flame-retardant materials with a compressive strength of not less than 500 kg, and their width must match the number of cables to ensure that the cables are completely embedded in the trays without any exposed parts. Special connectors shall be used to seal the joints of the cable trays to prevent the cables from falling out of the gaps. At the same time, yellow warning signs shall be pasted on both sides of the cable trays, and the signs shall be clearly marked with "Cable Protection Area, Watch Your Step" to remind passing personnel to detour. This prevents cable damage caused by stepping on the cable trays, which could lead to electric leakage or signal interruption failures.
If the stage floor is a temporarily built wooden or metal frame structure, it is also necessary to lay anti-slip mats under the operating platform of the audio hoist control box to increase friction and further improve operational safety.
