The lifting height of stage equipment refers to the vertical distance from the top surface of the crane's running track or the ground to the upper limit position of the lifting device. For some electric hoists, the lifting device is allowed to lower to the ground or below the top surface of the track, and the lowered distance is called the lowering depth. In this case, the lifting range of the electric hoist is the sum of the lifting height and the lowering depth, that is, the vertical distance between the highest and lowest working positions of the spreader. In the actual lifting operation of the electric hoist, the allowable value of the lifting height shall not be exceeded. Because exceeding the limit will cause the overload failure of the fixing measures for the tail of the steel wire rope wound on the drum of the lifting mechanism, which will lead to the occurrence of heavy object falling accidents.
