Storage of Stage Electric Hoists

Before storage, a thorough cleaning shall be conducted on the surface of the stage electric hoist. Use a dry and soft cloth to carefully wipe off dust, stage debris, water stains and other contaminants attached to the equipment housing, chains, hooks and other components, ensuring that no residual impurities are left on the surface of the equipment. For key components requiring lubrication and protection such as chain transmission parts and hook bearings, special lubricating oil or grease shall be applied in accordance with the requirements specified in the equipment instruction manual. This not only reduces friction loss between components, but also forms a protective film on the metal surface, laying a solid foundation for subsequent storage.

Only after the completion of cleaning and lubrication can the hoist be moved to the designated storage area. The storage location shall meet the requirements of being dry and well-ventilated, free of corrosive gases, and away from heat sources and water sources. Meanwhile, moisture-proof treatment shall be carried out on the ground, and moisture-proof mats or wooden pallets can be laid to prevent the equipment from direct contact with the ground. A humid environment can easily cause oxidation and rusting of metal components of the equipment and damp-induced short circuits of circuit elements. Therefore, maintaining dryness of the storage environment is a key measure to prevent equipment corrosion and extend its service life.
