Fixed points of stage chain blocks

Stage installation workers all know that stage chain blocks are used when building a stage. Each chain block has its own function and hoisting location, and these hoisting locations are the fixed points of the chain blocks. So, what are these fixed points?

First, good hoisting points. In many cases, stages are set up in well - equipped venues such as gymnasiums and art centers. These venues have dedicated hoisting points on the ceiling. Therefore, when fixing stage chain blocks, if such good designs exist, simply hang the blocks on these points. This ensures that the operation can be carried out more safely.

Second, track clamps. If there are no ideal fixing conditions, the chain blocks can be fixed to track clamps, which are then attached to I - beams. In this way, a secure hoisting point is established.

Third, lifting slings. When hoisting heavy objects under the stage(bracket), the lifting sling can be hung at the center of the bracket, and then the stage chain block can be hung on the lifting sling. However, it should be noted that the load - bearing capacity of the lifting sling must be greater than the rated load of the chain block to avoid overloading.

Fourth, chains. If there is a sturdy place to tie the chains, the hook of the stage chain block can be hung on a circular chain made of chains. Similarly, the load - bearing capacity of this chain must be greater than the rated load of the chain block to prevent overloading. The above are the places where the hooks of stage chain blocks can be fixed. Additionally, it is important to emphasize that it is not recommended to directly hook the chain block's hook onto the stage bracket, as this may easily cause the bracket to collapse and lead to dangerous situations.
