When a stage electric hoist starts normally but does not operate properly, what could be the cause? Even if the voltage of the hoist motor is checked and found to be normal, why does this happen?

Our technicians have summarized and analyzed the reasons as follows:

1. Motor burnout: The motor of the stage electric hoist is burned out, requiring motor replacement.

2. Rust seizing: If the hoist is unused for a long time or subjected to improper maintenance, the brake wheel and end cover may become rusted solid, preventing the hoist from operating normally.

3. Severe stator-rotor rubbing: Serious friction between the stator and rotor of the motor can cause the motor to stop rotating, leading to hoist inoperability. In this case, the hoist should be stopped immediately and undergo major repair or motor replacement to ensure normal operation. To avoid various faults in stage electric hoists, during use, it is essential to conduct thorough daily inspection, maintenance, and upkeep. Address faults promptly upon detection to resolve issues in a timely manner.
