During the cleaning process of stage hoists, operators must always keep in mind the core principle of "motor water protection". They shall adopt scientific and reasonable cleaning methods, accurately control the direction of water flow, and strictly prevent clean water from entering the interior of the motor and the sealed areas of the electrical control system.
For specific operations, it is recommended to use a high-pressure water gun or a soft water pipe to rinse the equipment's housing, chains, hooks, guide rails and other parts with mist or low-pressure water flow. The water flow shall be kept at a certain distance from key parts such as the motor housing, junction boxes and control boxes to avoid direct spraying. At the same time, it is strictly prohibited to immerse the entire electric hoist in water for soaking and cleaning. This operation will cause clean water to seep into the interior through the sealed gaps of the equipment, resulting in irreversible damage such as damp motor windings and corrosion of electrical components, which will directly lead to the scrapping of the equipment. For stubborn oil stains or dust on the surface of the equipment, special neutral cleaning agents can be sprayed first. After the stains are softened, wipe them with a damp cloth to ensure the cleaning effect and protect the equipment to the maximum extent.
