The "up" and "down" operations of the stage lighting hoist are controlled by relays/contactors in different directions inside the controller. Frequent alternating direction switching (such as repeatedly pressing "up-down-up" in a short period of time) will cause the contactors to engage and disengage frequently, generating electric arcs that burn the contacts. At the same time, the instantaneous reverse current will impact the capacitors and chips on the circuit board, shortening their service life.

Standardize the operation process: Before switching the direction of the stage lighting electric hoist controller, the hoist must be completely stopped (wait for 1-2 seconds), and the reverse button can be operated only after the current stabilizes. For scenarios that require fine adjustment of height, inching operation (briefly pressing the button) can be used instead of continuously and quickly switching directions.

Ensure equipment matching in multi-control mode to avoid program conflicts Multi-control systems (such as the linkage between the console and on-site controllers, and the collaboration of multi-area controllers) must ensure that the parameters of all equipment involved in the linkage are unified, including load upper limit, running speed (e.g., 0.5m or 1m per second), and signal protocols (e.g., DMX512, wireless radio frequency). If the parameters do not match, it may cause the controller to receive wrong instructions (such as an "up" instruction being misjudged as "down"), or lead to overload of some controllers due to uneven load distribution.

Regularly verify multi-control logic: Before each performance, test the multi-control linkage effect (such as synchronous lifting and lowering, partition control) through simulation operations on the stage lighting electric hoist controller to check for delays, freezes, or misoperations. If a programmable controller is used, it is necessary to back up the program regularly to avoid linkage abnormalities caused by program confusion.
