In special scenarios of audio equipment installation, manual chain hoists can make up for the shortcomings of electric equipment and meet diverse needs:

Usable in Power-Free Scenarios:

No external power supply is required. In temporarily built theater venues, outdoor performances, or emergency scenarios with power outages, manual chain hoists can still hang audio equipment normally, avoiding delays in audio installation caused by power issues.

Adaptable to Narrow Spaces:

With a compact size (the height of common models is less than 50 cm) and light weight (approximately 10-20 kg), they can be installed in narrow spaces that are difficult for electric equipment to access, such as the mezzanine of the stage and the area above the audience seats. For example, they can be used to hang ceiling-mounted audio equipment at small hanging points on the theater dome.

Temporary and Rapid Deployment:

No pre-installed electronic control circuits or programs are needed. Only by fixing the hook of the manual chain hoist to a load-bearing hanging point can the hanging of a single audio device be completed within 10-15 minutes. This saves more than 60% of the installation time compared to electric equipment (which requires connecting to a console and adjusting parameters), making it suitable for audio installation in small and medium-sized touring performances or temporary shows.
