Process-Level Moisture Protection for Stage Specific Lifting Belt - Multi-Layer Protection Coating System

Outer Waterproof Coating
Through PVC (polyvinyl chloride) dipping or TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) film coating process, a continuous waterproof membrane with a thickness of 0.1–0.3 mm is formed on the surface of the stage specific lifting belt, blocking liquid water and moisture (waterproof rating up to IPX4–IPX6).
Example: Waterproof testing of TPU-coated belts shows no penetration under 20 kPa water pressure for 30 minutes.
Inner Fiber Protection
The belt fibers are treated with silane coupling agents to enhance bonding between fibers and fill micro-pores, reducing the path for moisture diffusion along fiber gaps (similar to the "lotus effect", where water droplets form beads and roll off the surface).
Weaving Process Optimization for the Belt
Tight Twill Weaving
Adopting 3×3 or 4×4 twill weaving methods, the belt density is increased to 280–320 stitches/10 cm. The physical structure compresses fiber gaps (gap < 5μm), preventing moisture molecules from passing through.
Multi-Layer Composite Structure
Some stage specific lifting belt products use a "outer waterproof membrane + middle strong fibers + inner moisture-absorbing buffer layer" sandwich structure. The inner moisture-absorbing layer (e.g., modified non-woven fabric) can adsorb small amounts of infiltrated moisture, preventing direct contact with load-bearing fibers.
