In contrast to steel wire ropes, its non-metallic structure completely avoids scratch damage to the surface of hoisted objects (such as precision instrument casings and polished metal plates) during hoisting. When the polyester fiber of the lift polyester sling, with a surface smoothness of Ra0.8μm or lower, comes into contact with the hoisted object, the friction coefficient is only 0.2-0.3, which is much lower than the 0.6-0.8 when steel contacts steel.
