There are mainly three types of control devices for stage hoists.
Handheld controllers are divided into three categories: single-button handheld controllers, which only control a single action; multi-button handheld controllers, which support lifting, lowering and fine-tuning; and multi-circuit switching handheld controllers, which can switch to control multiple hoists. They are suitable for small stages, campus auditoriums, temporary events, or simple lifting needs with no additional control requirements (such as the lifting of backdrops and simple props).
Traditional control boxes include three types: standalone control boxes; integrated control boxes, which enable centralized control of multiple hoists and are equipped with circuit switching switches; and explosion-proof control boxes, which are suitable for outdoor or special environments and can flexibly expand the number of controlled devices for performances. They are applicable to medium-sized performance venues, fixed control areas in theater backstages, or scenarios requiring multi-device collaboration without complex programming (such as synchronous control of conference light frames and stage curtains).
Intelligent touchscreen control boxes are equipped with a touchscreen. They are suitable for large stages, variety shows, multi-purpose venues, or scenarios requiring complex motion choreography (such as synchronous movement of prop groups in concerts and rapid scene switching in musicals).
